Bruce Willis was an unconventional action hero at a time when muscle-bound behemoths ruled cinema and he will always be a Hollywood legend.

He’s long been a favorite of mine. My friends and I had an unhealthy obsession with Die Hard in college and he will always have a special place in my heart.

His health issues are saddening, but he can look back on a career that most can only dream of and he can rest assured that he will continue to be regarded fondly by millions and millions.

I hope that Bruce enjoys his retirement and fills his days with laughter, love, and family.
